Andy passed away on 24th March 2009, aged only 57 after losing his fight with stomach cancer. He took ill in 2000 and it was the RNLI who bought him safely home. Andy would be extremely pround to have a Forever by the Sea Fund named after him. He loved the sea and spent most of his adult working life in afloat. Shortly after Andy passed away I was given a card which said: "Life is not measured by the years you lived, but by the love you gave and the things you did". This sums up Andy's life - he idolised his "girls", was a loving husband, caring father and doting granddad, and rose to the top in two careers, Andy was not only my husband, but my soulmate and my best friend. I love him dearly, miss him so very much and life will never be the same without him. God bless my love, and until we meet again, I love you, today, tomorrow and always, Sue xxxxx
